Meet The Three Rifles.

Sean has always had a passion for Bourbon and quality spirits, going back to his days of bartending. He eventually went on to manage, and even own, bars and restaurants, spending his last 20 years as a professional chef. Going along with his love for creating and executing recipes, he decided to turn his focus to creating recipes for superior hand-crafted spirits and canned cocktails. Sean, along with his wife Candace, spent the last few years touring the distilleries along the Kentucky Bourbon Trail and Tennessee Whiskey Trail. It was then that he realized that his dream was truly attainable. Sean bought himself a tiny home still and began developing his recipes. While studying the process of making these delicious libations, Sean also began working as a distiller for another locally owned distillery where he was able to hone his craft. Sean recently graduated Moonshine University as an Executive Bourbon Steward, and he has been inducted into the prestigious Stave & Thief Society. Teaming up with his co-owners, Sean is now the owner and head distiller of Three Rifles Distilling Co., bringing his love and craft directly to you!

While Dan doesn’t have Sean’s passion for creating spirits, he certainly has an affinity for sipping it neat or on the rocks! Originally from South Carolina, Dan moved to Tennessee in 2009 and hasn’t left since. Over the years here, he developed a taste for quality whiskey and bourbon, and he also came to enjoy the sweet flavor of rum in his travels through Central and South America. Dan became a Clarksville real estate investor in 2017 and met Sean through a project that they worked on together. Years later, when Sean talked to him about his dream to open a distillery, Dan was excited at the chance to help make the dream a reality. Dan spends his spare time with his wife and 2 young kids who are his whole world while trying to maintain an active lifestyle of running, biking, and sports. However, when the kids are asleep and it’s time to relax, Dan is excited to sit back and sip on a glass from Clarksville’s first downtown distillery. We hope you enjoy it too! #DRINKTOFREEDOM

Michael was born in "Bourbon City", known to most as Louisville, Kentucky. Being from Louisville, Michael quickly developed an affinity for high quality bourbon and other spirits. Having grown up all over the US, and then joining the United States Marine Corps to fight for this great nation, he's been all over the world and has collected quite a pallet and passion for fine spirits. When Michael learned that Sean wanted to create something great, he knew he couldn’t pass up the opportunity to be a part of it. Always the learner, Michael is fascinated with how and why the whole amazing and intricate process works... which Sean is continuously educating him on. Michael and the whole Three Rifles Team are here to bring you the finest craft spirits and cocktails for your enjoyment.... mostly because we want something great to drink ourselves. Cheers!
