For as long as he can remember, Sean has had a passion for bourbon and quality spirits, dating back to his early days behind the bar as a bartender. That passion led him through a successful career in the hospitality industry, where he managed and owned bars and restaurants before spending the last 20 years as a professional chef.
With a lifelong love for creating and perfecting recipes, Sean eventually turned his attention from the kitchen to the still. Inspired by the artistry of handcrafted spirits and ready-to-drink cocktails, he began developing recipes that would one day become the foundation of Three Rifles Distilling Co..
Alongside his wife, Candace, Sean spent several years exploring the renowned Kentucky Bourbon Trail and Tennessee Whiskey Trail, learning from some of the industry's most respected distillers. It was during these travels that he realized his dream of becoming a distiller was truly within reach.
Determined to make that dream a reality, Sean purchased a small home still and began experimenting with recipes and refining his techniques. As he immersed himself in the science and craftsmanship of distillation, he also joined another locally owned distillery, where he gained invaluable hands-on experience and further honed his skills.
Sean has since graduated from Moonshine University as an Executive Bourbon Steward and earned induction into the prestigious Stave & Thief Society, achievements that reflect his dedication to the craft and pursuit of excellence.
Today, alongside his co-owners, Sean proudly serves as Owner and Head Distiller of Three Rifles Distilling Co., bringing his passion, creativity, and commitment to quality directly to every bottle and every guest.

While Dan may not share Sean's passion for creating spirits, he certainly has a deep appreciation for enjoying them - whether neat or over ice.
Originally from South Carolina, Dan relocated to Tennessee in 2009 and has proudly called it home ever since. Over the years, he developed a taste for quality whiskey and bourbon, while his travels throughout Central and South America introduced him to a newfound appreciation for fine rum and its rich, sweet character.
In 2017, Dan began investing in real estate in Clarksville, where he first met Sean through a project they worked on together. Their friendship grew over the years, and when Sean shared his vision of opening a distillery, Dan immediately recognized the opportunity to help bring that dream to life. Excited by the concept and the chance to be part of something unique, he joined the team as a co-owner of Three Rifles Distilling Co.
When he isn't helping grow the business, Dan enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children, who are the center of his world. He also strives to maintain an active lifestyle through running, cycling, and sports. But after the kids are asleep and the day winds down, you'll often find him relaxing with a well-earned pour from Clarksville's hometown distillery.
Dan is proud to be part of bringing handcrafted spirits to the community and helping build a destination where friends, family, and patriots can gather to celebrate life's moments together.

Born in Louisville - often referred to as "Bourbon City" - Michael developed an appreciation for exceptional bourbon and quality spirits at an early age. Growing up in a city with such a rich bourbon heritage helped shape his palate and sparked a lifelong interest in fine craftsmanship.
Having lived throughout the United States before proudly serving in the United States Marine Corps, Michael has traveled extensively both at home and abroad. Along the way, he discovered a wide variety of spirits, cultures, and traditions, developing an appreciation for the unique flavors and stories behind each one.
When Sean shared his vision of building something truly special, Michael immediately recognized the opportunity. Excited by the prospect of creating a hometown distillery rooted in craftsmanship, patriotism, and community, he knew he wanted to be part of bringing that vision to life. As a naturally curious person and lifelong learner, Michael is fascinated by the science, artistry, and precision behind distillation - a subject Sean is always happy to teach.
Today, Michael proudly serves as a co-owner of Three Rifles Distilling Co., helping build a brand dedicated to producing outstanding handcrafted spirits and cocktails. Together with the rest of the Three Rifles team, his goal is simple: create the kind of spirits they love to drink and share them with fellow enthusiasts who appreciate quality, craftsmanship, and freedom.
After all, one of the best reasons to make great spirits is to have something great to raise a glass with.
